MarinMap Work Program

Work with all agencies and entities that are involved with watershed management.
Collect and store relevant data.  Create GIS web application(s) to show relevant data.

Improve precision of stream locations and assign attributes such as class (perennial, intermittent and ephemeral).  Insert stream data into National Hydrography Database.

Improve precision of watershed boundary location.  Digitze missing sub-watersheds.

Recorded maps linkage/layer project- Begin with linking scanned images of Assessor map images to parcels; link other recorded map images; include LAFCo annexation maps.

Add local datasets to SDE for sharing – sewer systems, storm water drainage, water systems.

Create feature-linked Situs address annotation to enhance map creation with addresses

Update Capital Improvement Program (CIP) data – consider an application for public viewing.
Share utility data with other agencies

Encourage member agency participation from various departments within an agency.

Benchmark GIS application – Web application to show and download elevation bench mark data.

Survey monument GIS application – secure web application to capture and display Survey monuments. Allow Surveyors to directly enter points and attributes.

Establish Geodetic Control network of monuments.

Adopt road classification system with legal, functional and physical denotations.
