Data Added or Updated
Geology East and West are now merged into one nice feature class with better descriptions of attributes.
Parcel Characteristics: a new feature class containing Assessor Parcel characteristics has been added to the Planner Map application and members-only dataviewer. Information like average slope, deedID, land & improved value etc.
FEMA feature classes added to Data viewer applications: In response to customer request, we added S_PRM_BMK (permanent benchmarks) and S_BFE (base flood elevation). The permanent benchmark table has an attribute that links to FEMA web site of benchmark metadata. Check it out.
Terrain Data coming soon: MarinMap will soon have detailed digital terrain data derived from 2-foot contours and FEMA LiDAR data (along the bay front up to 20 feet in elevation). With ESRI 3D Analyst extension you can view and analyze land forms in three dimensions (and do a "fly through").
Orthos 2007: the new color aerial photos will be available as a map service in applications and on the MarinMap web server. You must connect to this service to view photos. They are NOT in the SDE database. These layers will be added to the Data viewer and Planner Apps.
